Gardiner Community Center
Starting as a concept in 2024 by 2 members of the Gardiner community, who realized that the lower meeting room in the Center would be an ideal location for an Art gallery that could help support and showcase local artists and benefit the entire community,
Ann Waldron and Janet Johnson approached the Board members of the Center with the concept seeking approval and funding to open the Gallery of the Arts. By the beginning of 2025, funding was secured and the purchasing and installation of the Art display system was complete. The first solo artist show was conducted in March, and since then, the Gallery has hosted monthly, solo shows for local artist with a group show scheduled for the end of the year.
The Gallery is currently beginning to fill the 2026 schedule and any interest in showing artwork can contact Ann Waldron: [email protected] or Janet Johnson: [email protected]
